Muroix Marsh

Watercolor and Pencil

2020

Several different water-acclimated species gather at the rich wetlands, bogs, and marshes along the coasts of Eastern Ifas. There are three species coexisting in this image: Muroix (three left, one right), a new undocumented species (middle, red and purple), and the ever graceful Common Easum (bottom right).

The Wetlands, Marshes, and Bogs are a hotspot of biodiversity. Many people call these ecosystems the Jewels of Nomia, due to the colorful variety of flora and fauna.

There are extremely strict rules on travel to and through these delicate ecosystems.

The Marsh on the left is a transition from the Muroix Marsh to the more open  lowlands leading up to Yoding City.
